Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients via video chat, providing a safe space for discussion and exploration of their emotions and experiences.

• Assist clients in establishing and achieving their therapeutic goals through personalized support and guidance.

• Monitor clients’ progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, identifying and addressing any behaviors that may hinder recovery.

• Engage in consistent follow-up communication with clients, reinforcing their progress and maintaining motivation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse client population, comprising stable adults with low acuity needs. By connecting with those who prefer the accessibility of telehealth services, you will be instrumental in providing support to individuals who may feel uncomfortable or unable to access traditional therapy settings.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Required licensure to practice independently: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• No limited or provisional licenses are acceptable; candidates must have a clean professional record without any disciplinary actions.

• Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients.

• Proficiency in using technology and online tools for counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, previous experience in telehealth services or an understanding of online counseling methods can be advantageous. A background in crisis intervention or trauma-informed care is also beneficial for working with a diverse client base.
