West Side Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at our Riverside, California location. As a full-time member of our orthopedic outpatient practice, you will play a vital role in helping patients restore their movement abilities and improve their overall functionality. Work Environment

This full-time position requires onsite engagement, enabling you to work directly with patients in our well-equipped rehabilitation center. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that fosters both professional development and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients' physical therapy needs, setting personalized goals.
• Implement and maintain an effective patient load, managing one-on-one sessions to ensure quality care.
• Develop tailored care plans utilizing diverse treatment techniques, explicitly focusing on orthopedic conditions.
• Administer non-invasive therapeutic interventions while encouraging patients to minimize reliance on medications.
• Customize fitness and wellness programs designed to enhance individual strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Closely monitor treatment effects and patient progress, maintaining open communication to adjust care plans as necessary.
• Document all patient care services accurately and efficiently, leveraging EMR systems like WebPT.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Implement evidence-based practices and educate patients on the importance of health and wellness.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to maximize their outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population you will serve includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. By employing your specialized skill set, you will support these patients in regaining their independence and enhancing their mobility through dedicated therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Possess a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• No prior board actions or disciplinary measures on your professional license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Experience in developing effective exercise routines tailored to patients' specific requirements.
• Familiar with EMR software, particularly WebPT, ensuring seamless documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience in implementing and evaluating individualized therapy programs.
• A strong background in patient education related to orthopedic rehabilitation and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, full-time employees are entitled to comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
