Within a collaborative framework, our team comprises two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all striving towards a common goal of enhancing patient well-being and recovery.

Work Environment

The work environment at Capital Life Orthopedics is designed to inspire therapeutic success and facilitate collaboration. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional schedule. Our facility focuses solely on orthopedic care and caters primarily to patients with private medical insurance. Each therapist maintains a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring dedicated and personalized care that aligns with our mission to empower patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and fulfill the unique goals and needs of your patients through comprehensive evaluations, resulting in tailored rehabilitation strategies.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to promote optimal function.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports, ensuring transparency and continuity of care.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques effectively to address orthopedic conditions and enhance recovery outcomes.
• Integrate exercise programs into treatment modalities that bolster strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Offer non-surgical treatment alternatives and minimize reliance on medications, focusing on holistic recovery approaches.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient health and well-being.
• Monitor patient progress consistently and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize healing and performance.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, fostering a supportive environment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest techniques and findings relevant to orthopedic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be to serve patients who are primarily seeking rehabilitation after orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain issues. We aim to enhance their functionality and quality of life, utilizing our facility's advanced resources. Your expertise will significantly influence their rehabilitation journey, providing them with effective therapies tailored to their specific orthopedic needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is essential.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of California without any disciplinary measures or board actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques as well as effective communication skills to connect with patients and team members.
• Solid understanding and ability to utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to document patient care accurately.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy settings is preferred, providing practical knowledge to address a variety of patient diagnoses.
• A history of successfully developing and managing personalized fitness and wellness programs for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Advanced training in specialized therapeutic modalities or certifications relevant to orthopedic physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is between USD 100,000 and 125,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
