We are seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our outpatient practice at Capital Life Orthopedics in Fontana, California. Our state-of-the-art, 5,000 square-foot facility is equipped with modern technology and specialized equipment to ensure our therapists can offer the most effective treatment to our patients. With a team consisting of two experienced Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), we emphasize collaborative practice and high-quality care, primarily for patients with private medical insurance.

Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite, providing an engaging and supportive environment where practitioners can thrive. You will have a manageable patient load of one patient per hour, allowing you ample time to focus on individualized care and treatment strategies. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., ensuring a work-life balance that fosters personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs to establish effective treatment goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of intervention strategies and therapeutic techniques.
• Utilize manual therapy and targeted exercises to enhance patients' mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Deliver education on injury prevention and promote a healthy lifestyle through fitness and wellness programming tailored to individual requirements.
• Monitor patient progress, adapt care plans as necessary, and provide ongoing encouragement to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and other therapists, to provide integrated care aligned with patient goals.
• Document all treatment activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software such as WebPT, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Capital Life Orthopedics, you will primarily treat patients experiencing orthopedic conditions such as joint pain, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. Our practice focuses on delivering tailored care aimed at optimizing each patient's recovery path and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in California with no record of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques with proficiency in developing tailored exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement fitness and rehabilitation programs that resonate with diverse patient needs.
• A proven track record of improving functional outcomes for patients through innovative therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
