The Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist is a full-time, pivotal role within our dynamic rehabilitation center located in Riverside, California. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role is anchored in an onsite setting within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center. Our facility is structured to provide a collaborative, patient-focused atmosphere where healthcare professionals work closely together. As a team member, you will engage with fellow therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, fostering an interdisciplinary approach that enhances the quality of care we provide. Your work hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balance between professional responsibilities and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to accurately assess patient needs and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, managing a patient load of one individual per hour, allowing for focused and thorough rehabilitation.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education aimed at improving motion, strength, and function.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in our EMR system, specifically using WebPT or a similar platform, to ensure precise and secure patient records.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness by continuously monitoring patient progress and adjusting therapeutic interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care and recovery.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery process, promoting adherence to their treatment plans and lifestyle modifications.
• Customize health and wellness programs that cater to each patient's specific rehabilitation goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient demographic includes individuals with private medical insurance, many of whom seek treatment for orthopedic conditions. You will work closely with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain. The focus is on providing cost-effective solutions that prioritize non-surgical interventions and minimizing medication reliance, promoting a holistic approach to healing.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California is mandatory, with no disciplinary actions on your record.
• Strong manual therapy skills and expertise in developing exercise routines tailored to patients' needs.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software, especially WebPT, to enhance efficiency in documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient therapy is highly preferred, as this knowledge will enhance your effectiveness in treating our patient population.
• Experience in a high-volume private practice setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
