Work Environment

This full-time position operates onsite at our outpatient office, allowing for direct interaction with patients. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a balanced work-life experience. In this collaborative environment, you will work closely with two fellow physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant to provide comprehensive patient care, leveraging shared knowledge and techniques to enhance treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to recognize and fulfill the goals and needs of each patient effectively, ensuring a bespoke approach to therapy.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, allowing for adequate time to assess and treat each patient's unique condition.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to design and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific mobility and rehabilitative needs.
• Offer innovative, cost-effective treatments focused on improving motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
• Develop dynamic fitness and wellness programs tailored to patients' progress and unique requirements, ensuring an ongoing commitment to their health and well-being.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to motivate patients throughout their treatment journeys, optimizing their functional performance and recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and maintain open lines of communication regarding patient progress.
• Accurately document all patient care services provided, ensuring compliance with facility protocols and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily caters to individuals with private medical insurance, reflecting a commitment to catering to a diverse range of orthopedic conditions. You will work with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues, all of whom seek effective rehabilitation strategies to restore their motion and enhance their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field, along with active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• No incidents of board actions or disciplinary measures recorded on your license, ensuring a trustworthy and compliant practice environment.
• Demonstrated skills in manual therapy techniques, allowing for hands-on treatment approaches that enhance patient recovery.
• Proficiency in designing effective exercise programs tailored to individual recovery needs, showcasing your adaptability as a therapist.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT or similar platforms, to streamline patient documentation and care management.

Preferred Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Your established background in direct patient care will allow you to hit the ground running and contribute positively from day one.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your vital role, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
