Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a manageable caseload, ensuring personalized attention to each patient (approximately one patient per hour).
• Utilize evidence-based methods to develop individualized treatment plans addressing mobility and functional goals.
• Implement cost-effective therapy techniques that prioritize patient health and assist in reducing dependency on surgical interventions.
• Guide patients through tailored exercise protocols and manual therapy techniques to enhance overall physical functioning.
• Motivate and educate patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Work directly with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and document patient progress to maintain accurate records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses primarily on adult patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. You will work with individuals recovering from various musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. By providing personalized care, you will help each patient regain their range of motion and return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid physical therapy license in the state of California.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining an unblemished professional standing with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach towards patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques is highly advantageous.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, will be beneficial to efficiently manage patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
