In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in helping patients regain their mobility and optimize their overall functionality. Our diverse patient base, predominantly covered by private medical insurance, requires tailored treatment plans to address their unique orthopedic needs.

Work Environment

The work setting is onsite within a busy rehabilitation center located in vibrant San Bernardino. The center is designed to promote healing and recovery, featuring cutting-edge equipment and a comfortable atmosphere for patients. As a Physical Therapist, you will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience while serving a demanding patient load.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and understand the specific goals and needs of each patient, ensuring personalized and effective treatment plans.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, providing focused care and attention.
• Employ your expertise to develop and implement customized care plans utilizing evidence-based treatments from a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Explore alternative, non-surgical interventions to promote recovery and minimize reliance on medication.
• Document patient evaluations, ongoing treatment sessions, and progress, maintaining accurate records that comply with EMR standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
• Regularly assess treatment efficacy and make necessary adjustments to care plans based on patients' feedback and progress.
• Design fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs to promote sustained recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical patients, athletes, and those with chronic musculoskeletal disorders. You will have the opportunity to impact a diverse group of patients, helping them regain their strength and functionality through focused rehabilitation efforts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California, with no board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of effective, individual exercise routines.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, with the ability to navigate efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of providing exceptional patient care with a strong focus on outcomes.
• Ability to develop innovative treatment plans that incorporate the latest therapeutic practices and patient preferences.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time Physical Therapist role ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
