Manager, Contract Administration (20th Television) The Manager, Contract Administration at 20th Animation and Disney Television Animation will manage the administration of options tracking, pilot script development payments, and EWA for series and television movies. Reporting to the Director of Contract Administration, the Manager implements contractual obligations and administrative processes for animation projects, working closely with executives across Animation to facilitate alignment with the company's processes and practices. Core Responsibilities Accurately interpret agreements and maintain a high volume of projects, ensuring all tasks are handled in a timely manner. Handle day‑to‑day administration of above‑the‑line agreements for television development and production, including data management and contract summaries. Review and enter deal points for various development and production agreements in database systems. Track options in databases, distribute reminder notices, and handle option payments and letters. Process pilot script development payments and collect start paperwork for new talent hire. Supervise series WGA worklists, track and provide weekly reports to the WGA Guild. Draft and process series EWA agreements and payments, including internal and external distribution. Track and process WGA character payments, program fees, agency package fees, royalty payments and 3rd‑party reuse fees. Field and respond to internal and external inquiries regarding covered responsibilities, providing necessary documentation and information. Build strong working relationships with Business Affairs, Residuals, Finance, Casting, talent agents, managers and talent. Collaborate with Contract and Casting Administration teams, setting high standards of excellence and professionalism. Research ad‑hoc queries and provide reports for Business Affairs, Legal Affairs, Production, Labor and Finance. Communicate with IT partners to troubleshoot database issues and reconcile information with other systems. Required Qualifications Minimum of 4 years experience in the entertainment industry administering contractual obligations in talent agreements, including tracking options, analyzing deal terms, and database entry. Experience with animation agreements. Highly organized, strong communication skills, excellent judgment, self‑starter, detail‑oriented, and professional demeanor. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple concurrent tasks and strong time‑management skills. Broad knowledge of applicable union/guild agreements, especially for animation projects. Comfortable and confident interfacing with team members, high‑level executives, production personnel and talent representatives. Strong IT and extensive database experience; expertise with BLAST, IDeA, Box, and AirTable preferred. Proficiency with MS Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Paralegal certificate. Litigation or law firm experience. Additional Information Location: On‑site 4 days per week, Burbank, CA. Salary range: $79,400 to $106,400 per year. Compensation may vary based on internal equity and individual factors. Bonus and long‑term incentive units may be provided.
