The Role

We're looking for an Oncology Program Manager to support the execution of Viz's oncology care pathways — and to own the operating system that lets them scale.

Working alongside our care pathway leads, you'll help get sites live, train and onboard the clinicians who use the product, build durable relationships across the oncology and urology community, and serve as the clinical voice for Sales and Customer Success. You'll also do something new for us: operate oncology as a program . That means one source of truth for site status and milestones, a clear operating rhythm across functions, clean handoffs, and escalation paths that work without requiring an executive in the room.

Oncology at Viz has real clinical momentum and real customer demand. It is also complicated by multiple dependencies and processes that need to get simpler — and success in this role depends on close collaboration with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Finance.

The ideal candidate combines the field credibility of a care pathway lead with the discipline of a strong program manager, and the instincts of someone who has worked inside an AI-native company and knows how fast the ground moves.

What You'll Own

Care Pathway Execution

• Enable and coordinate oncology care pathway delivery from contract execution through technical go-live, clinical activation, and sustained use — through a combination of direct execution and a focus on process improvement.

• Develop tight processes for planning, anticipating, and managing the site-side work that determines whether a site goes live on time: IT and EHR dependencies, IRB and research contracting, configuration, data validation, and clinical champion sign-off.

• Work with clinical sales, demand generation, and marketing to build per-site activation plans and the pipeline behind them, so we're consistently carrying enough sites to hit commitments even when individual accounts slip.

• Partner with Finance and our life sciences teams on the milestone implications of go-live timing, so the numbers people see reflect reality.

Clinician Onboarding, Training, and Adoption

• Design and deliver onboarding and training for oncologists, urologists, APPs, navigators, and pharmacists at each activating site.

• Build reusable training assets — quick-start guides, role-based walkthroughs, refresher sessions — so the tenth site is faster than the first rather than the same.

• Monitor early usage after go-live and intervene before disengagement sets in, closing the loop with Product and Clinical AI on issues that surface in the field.

Relationships and Clinical Voice

• Build and hold trusted relationships with clinical champions, service line leaders, and administrators at community urology networks, academic cancer centers, and large IDNs.

• Serve as a site's point of contact through activation and early adoption, and know when to pull in colleagues rather than absorbing it alone.

• Represent Viz at oncology and urology society meetings.

• Support Sales and Customer Success in customer conversations, demos, and objection handling with credible, clinically grounded answers.

• Contribute clinical input into product direction — workflow realities, guideline changes, what clinicians will and will not tolerate — in close partnership with Product, who owns requirements and roadmap.

Oncology Program Management

• Establish a single, maintained source of truth for oncology: site status, milestones, owners, blockers, and dates. One place, current, that anyone from Sales to Finance to R&D can read without asking.

• Establish clean interfaces, handoffs, and escalation paths across Clinical, Product, Engineering, Implementation, Sales, CS, Contracting, and Finance, with named owners.

• Bring order to how oncology communicates, so technical and product issues have one home and site-level engagement and training have another — and hold that line as new work starts.

• Build the reporting leadership and partners actually need, in collaboration with our platform and value demonstration teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in oncology or urology — clinical operations, care pathways, clinical program management, field medical, implementation, or customer-facing clinical roles — with real fluency in how cancer care is actually delivered.

• Direct experience in the community urology or community oncology setting, including how these practices and networks make decisions, buy, and adopt new workflow technology.

• Demonstrated multi-site, multi-stakeholder program or project management with hard deadlines — you're the person who keeps the tracker honest.

• Experience at an AI-native or high-growth health technology company, with comfort in the pace, ambiguity, and frequent replanning that comes with it.

• A track record of getting clinical sites live — and of closing the gap between "technically live" and "clinicians are using it."

• Strong clinical fluency and credibility with oncologists and urologists, whether or not you hold a clinical license.

• Excellent written communication, and a bias toward surfacing risk early with a plan attached.

• Thrives in a role with broad surface area and limited established process — and is energized by building that process rather than waiting for it.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience supporting life sciences–sponsored clinical programs, including IRB, research contracting, and sponsor milestone reporting.

• Familiarity with oncology and urology EHR and workflow systems (e.g., Epic Beacon, iKnowMed, OncoEMR, Athena).

• Clinical licensure (RN, APP/PA/NP, pharmacist) or formal clinical training a plus, but not required.

• Working knowledge of NCCN guidelines and how guideline updates propagate into clinical decision support.

• Experience with Salesforce, Monday.com, or comparable tooling for program and pipeline tracking.

How We Think About Care Pathway Execution

A care pathway is not delivered when the technology is live. It is delivered when clinicians change what they do because of it.

Most of what stands between those two states is not technical. It is coordination — who owns the next step, whether anyone is tracking it, whether the site heard back, whether the person who can unblock it knows they are blocking it. We're looking for someone who finds that work interesting rather than beneath them, because it's the highest-leverage work we have in oncology right now.
