Industrial Electrician

Get in on the ground floor with a new company!There is a full time opening on 1st shift for an Industrial Electrician @ $24 per hour + Benefits. As the Industrial Electrician, you will work alongside experienced associates to maintain and repair the facility’s interior and exterior. Join a family of Engineers as they revamp & re-energize a Piqua Mfg. facility.

The Best Work Schedule available: Four 10 hour Dayswith all the optional overtime you would like.

Duties to include:

• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other devices and components. Fasten metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets.
• Install or Repair 480 Volt 3-phase motors, DC motors up to 700 HP & single phase 110-220 Volt motors.
• Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, fixtures, and devices using hand tools and power tools.
• Inspect, assemble, install, and repair all electrical AC and DC circuits, instrumentation, switchgear, motors, and other electrical equipment throughout the plant.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as multi-meters to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, lifts, and roofs to install maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Document completed work and conditions in maintenance software
• Read and comprehend mechanical/electrical schematics and operation manuals
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of an Associate degree in Electrical Technology.
• Previous Industrial Electrician experience Preferred.
• Industrial 480 Volt electrical experience required.
• A Home Phone or Cell

• A Solid Work History
• A Clean Background with NO Felony Conviction
• Able to Pass an Employment Drug Screen
