Hospitalist - PhysicianLocation: Gouverneur, New YorkSchedule: 7:00AM - 7:00PM x 3Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension. Pay Rate: $198 - $213/hrAstrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Hospitalist for a temporary assignment in Gouverneur, New York. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.Responsibilities for a Hospitalist:• Maintain current EPIC charting system experience and proficiency• Submit CV showing experience and gaps within 30 days• Complete malpractice review with physician explanation prior to submission• Pay application fee upfront prior to reimbursement on first paycheck• Meet all qualifications, privileging, and compliance documentation requirements prior to performing services• Submit itemized receipts for all travel and lodging expenses• Book flights at least one month in advance when possible• Travel via coach or economy class for all domestic and international flights• Obtain pre-approval for any airfare costs of $500 or more before booking• Use the most economical rental vehicle available and provide all required rental documentation• Obtain pre-approval for SUV rentals during November through April• Fill gas tank before returning rental vehicles to avoid service fees• Retain and submit original receipts for all miscellaneous transportation including Uber, taxi, bus, subway, metro, ferry, and car service• Remain within a 20-minute radius of the care facility while on call• Refrain from leaving the state or country while on call• Submit original receipts for all road, bridge, ferry, and tunnel toll reimbursementBenefits for a Hospitalist:• Weekly pay every Friday• Comprehensive Professional Malpractice Insurance• 24/7 Recruitment Support• Full-service Credentialing and Corporate Travel Team• Referral Bonus up to $5,000Astrya Global Medical Staffing offers 10+ years of staffing experience, 100% domestic support, and is certified by both the Joint Commission and National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations.
