This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining company workstations, supporting end users, and administering critical systems including Microsoft 365. The ideal candidate will also bring experience in system administration and contribute to long-term IT planning and infrastructure development.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to end users, both in-person and remotely (*not a remote position)Manage and troubleshoot desktop/laptop workstations, printers, and peripheralsAdminister Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)Maintain system security, updates, and patches across the organizationSupport and manage Active Directory, user permissions, and group policiesAssist with planning and implementation of IT projects and system upgradesMonitor IT infrastructure and proactively address issuesDocument processes, configurations, and support proceduresCommunicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical staffQualifications2+ years of experience in a similar IT support or technician roleStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environmentsExperience with system administration, Active Directory, and endpoint managementFamiliarity with networking fundamentals is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyBonus: Experience contributing to or leading IT planning initiativesWhy Schmitty & Sons?Employee-owned, community-focused companySupportive and team-oriented cultureOpportunities for growth and career developmentCompetitive pay and benefits package
