Associate Principal, Complete Commercial Full-time Department: Digital & Technology Job Family: Consulting Compensation: USD 160,000 - USD 200,000 per year The Associate Principal, Data & Analytics position will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of EVERSANA Complete/Integrated client programs for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or healthcare clients. The role includes pre-launch commercial planning, post-launch commercial operations activities, and coordination of efforts between partners and business units to support strategic planning consultations, drive workstream delivery, and enhance service lines based on customer feedback.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide leadership with partners on the appropriate use of real‑world data, its applications within pre and post‑launch phases, and on developing strong client relationships. Plan, organize, and lead internal engagement teams to develop logical and insightful analyses, and innovative strategic recommendations that support brand growth. Deliver well‑structured, high‑quality deliverables to realize high levels of client delight. Take an active role in business development, building client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities, including SOW development. Lead development of proposals for new projects or commercial opportunities in partnership with Global BD and EVERSANA D&A leadership. Play an active role in data & analytics practice development and develop practice‑level intellectual capital. Take responsibility for developing and managing external relationships (clients, vendors, external experts). Recruit new team members; manage and coach junior team members and serve as a subject‑matter expert and thought partner to colleagues. Develop broader and deeper knowledge of consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through on‑the‑job exposure and formal training.

EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB

Travel: (10%)

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education: Undergraduate degree from a top‑tier institution with a relevant concentration (e.g., business administration, statistics, economics, operations research) and strong academic record with 7+ years of relevant work experience. Advanced degree(s) (e.g., MBA, PhD) highly preferred. Experience at a top global management consulting firm (preferred). Background in pharmaceutical industry/life sciences. Commercial operations and pharma operations experience preferred. Solid understanding of pharma industry data assets (medical and Rx claims, sell‑in data, affiliation datasets, formulary data). Experience in the appropriate use of real‑world data assets in optimizing customer engagement models, customer segmentation & targeting, patient journey analytics, forecasting, incentive compensation and performance reporting. Demonstrated track record of success in leadership, planning and execution of data & analytics engagements to life sciences companies—or in the healthcare industry. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; excellent communication skills and ability to deal with unstructured real‑world problems. Excellent communication, presentation and client influencing skills. Knowledge of key issues, trends and current developments in the pharmaceutical, medtech and healthcare industries.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Advanced degree(s) (e.g., MBA, PhD, MD) highly preferred. Experience at a top global management consulting firm. Commercial operations and pharma operations experience. Experience optimizing sales force effectiveness, segmentation & targeting, incentive compensation plan design. Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Snowflake knowledge.
