Custodian (Full Time)The Mine Hill School District is seeking a reliable and hardworking Custodian to assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-maintained school environment. The Custodian plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of the school by ensuring that classrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas are properly cleaned and maintained.Responsibilities:Clean and maintain classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, and other school facilitiesSweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors as neededEmpty trash and recycling containers throughout the buildingClean and sanitize restrooms and replenish suppliesAssist with building maintenance tasks and minor repairs as assignedSet up and break down furniture and equipment for school events and activitiesAssist with snow removal, grounds maintenance, and seasonal tasks as neededEnsure that the building remains safe and secure during assigned shiftsFollow all district safety procedures and cleaning protocolsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrior custodial or facilities experience preferredAbility to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periodsKnowledge of basic cleaning methods, equipment, and materialsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDemonstrated reliability and strong work ethicCompensation: Salary and benefits will be provided in accordance with the Mine Hill School District support staff contract.Application Process: Interested candidates should apply through the district's online application system.
