What We're Looking For

Savills is hiring an Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day business operations of our Charlotte, Raleigh, and Nashville offices. This is a hands-on leadership role covering human resources, accounting, and facilities management for all three offices — including staff hiring and supervision, payroll and benefits administration, accounts payable and receivable, commission billing, annual budgeting, lease and vendor management, and office facilities.

The role is based in Charlotte, NC with in-office presence four days a week and also oversees the operations for the Raleigh and Nashville offices remotely, including monthly in-person visits to Raleigh. You will report into our Director of Human Resources in our New York office and work closely with Savills corporate departments on finance, HR, legal, and other business functions.

This is a role with real ownership and real impact. You'll be the person who sets the operating rhythm for three offices — not just executing tasks that are handed to you, but identifying what needs attention, solving problems directly, and keeping leadership informed on the things that matter.

The ideal candidate has significant experience working with C-Level executives, and producers within an organization as well as operations, HR, or administrative functions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.You should be comfortable managing budgets, people, and relationships at the same time. Experience supporting or working alongside partners, producers, or executives — as a Chief of Staff, senior executive assistant, or operations leader — is a strong background for this role.

What You'll Own

People

• Full lifecycle for administrative staff — hire, train, and develop them into stronger performers, with the coaching and feedback that helps them grow along the way.
• Onboarding and offboarding, start to finish, including all the paperwork that keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes.
• Performance reviews, comp conversations, and benefits enrollment.
• Biweekly payroll and PTO reconciliation — clean, on time, every time.

Accounting

• AP, AR, and collections across three offices, plus broker commission billing and approvals.
• The annual regional budget, actively maintained and refined each quarter to keep it a living, useful tool.
• Transaction expense account reconciliation and expense report review.
• Quarterly revenue projections and ad-hoc reporting with the Region Lead.

Office Management

• Landlord relations, lease logistics, parking, and building operations for all three offices.
• Vendor contracts, equipment purchasing, and office moves or expansions.
• Keeping Raleigh and Nashville genuinely connected – building real relationships across offices, just not managing from a distance.

Everything Else

• The connective tissue between these offices and Savills corporate — finance, legal, HR, marketing, IT (including broker licensing and compliance with respective State licensing laws).
• Special projects and events across the region, as they come up.

Who You Are

• 5–7+ years running operations, office management, or executive support for partners, producers, or executives in a fast-paced industry — law, finance, real estate, or similar. Chief of Staff or senior EA experience supporting decision-makers directly is a strong fit.
• Real command of budgets, expense reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Experience managing and developing people, including the harder conversations, handled fairly and directly.
• A steady, clear presence — someone people trust to make the right call without checking in every time.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office; Salesforce and accounting systems a strong plus. CRE experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
• You raise things directly and early, keeping everyone ahead of what's coming.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in administrative management; experience in commercial real estate a plus.
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred - we value real, hands-on experience just as much as academic credentials. xhyhwjd
