Potential for travel outside work hours.Collaborative and friendly environmentJob Duties:Conduct field service at customer facilities, ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of CNC tool & cutter grinding machines.Provide comprehensive support to customers onsite, by phone, and via email, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues promptly and effectively.Expect up to 80% travel within the USA, Canada, and Mexico to support customer needs.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:CNC grinding experience, troubleshooting CNC machines, remote support.Technical field service experience with CNC grinding machinery, encompassing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.Proficiency in troubleshooting machine problems both on-site and remotely, including answering customer inquiries regarding maintenance, mechanical/electrical drawings, and part identification.Experience with the installation of CNC grinding machines at customer facilities.Hands-on individual with a strong mechanical aptitude.Ability to interpret and comprehend electrical, mechanical, and other technical drawings.Basic knowledge of electrical and fluid power circuits is preferred.Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
