This role leads multiple complex projects from kickoff through final customer acceptance, with full ownership of scope, schedule, cost, and overall performance. The Project Manager coordinates cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality to deliver switchgear, e-house, and building-related products that meet customer requirements. This position serves as the primary customer contact, ensuring clear communication, strong relationships, and successful project outcomes in a rapidly growing data center supplier environment.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from initial kickoff through final customer acceptance.
• Lead end-to-end project execution, including planning, design, procurement, manufacturing, integration, testing, and delivery.
• Own and control project scope, schedule, cost, and overall performance to meet customer and business objectives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining strong communication and high levels of satisfaction.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to align internal execution with customer requirements and contractual obligations.
• Lead internal and customer kickoff meetings to define objectives, timelines, and expectations.
• Provide regular project updates to customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency on progress and issues.
• Communicate technical and contractual requirements clearly to internal teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Allocate resources effectively and prioritize project activities to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure they meet scope, schedule, quality, and deliverable requirements.
• Monitor project status, risks, and issues, and implement mitigation plans to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and deliver project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and key decisions.
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards, contractual terms, and internal company processes.
• Support project invoicing, track payments, and manage project financials, including budgets and forecasts.
• Approve shipments and ensure all deliverables meet customer expectations and contractual specifications.
• Drive project closeout activities, including final documentation, lessons learned, and securing formal customer acceptance.
• Collaborate closely with production, procurement, engineering, quality, and client-facing teams to resolve issues and maintain schedule.
• Use ERP systems to manage project data, schedules, materials, and financial information.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices within the team.

• 3+ years of project management experience with full project ownership, including financials, schedules, client-facing responsibilities, and production coordination.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication company, ideally involving medium voltage or low voltage products, e-houses, buildings, relay panels, or similar equipment.
• Hands-on project management experience across the full product development life cycle within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Background in engineering or closely related technical disciplines, with strong understanding of electrical or mechanical systems.
• Experience managing projects involving switchgear, controls, relay panels, or related electrical equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality.
• Proven capability to manage project scope, schedule, cost, and performance in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to serve as the primary customer contact and to communicate technical and contractual requirements clearly.
• Ability to manage vendors and subcontractors and ensure they meet project scope and deliverables.
• Experience using ERP systems to support project execution and financial tracking.
• Ability to work daily on the shop floor and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a product development and manufacturing environment rather than a purely project engineering role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, with a preference for Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with switchgear, e-house, or building-related products; experience with controls and automatic transfer switches is considered transferable and highly relevant.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, with experience in Syteline considered ideal.
• Experience managing projects in the data center supply or related industries is beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to support invoicing, track payments, and manage project financials throughout the project life cycle.
• Experience leading customer-facing meetings, including kickoffs and regular status reviews.
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly growing organization and adapt to new product lines and processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple concurrent projects.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team of project managers distributed across multiple facilities.

This role operates in a Monday through Friday schedule, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility to accommodate working parents. The Project Manager is part of a team of approximately 24 project professionals distributed across five facilities, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. The position requires frequent presence on the shop floor, working closely with production, procurement, engineering, quality, and client-facing teams to ensure smooth project execution. The work environment centers around a manufacturing and fabrication setting, with exposure to medium and low voltage switchgear, e-house and building products, relay panels, and related electrical equipment. ERP systems, such as Syteline, support project planning, material coordination, and financial management. The culture emphasizes growth, as the organization is rapidly expanding its data center supplier offerings and adding new product lines, providing opportunities to contribute to a dynamic, evolving operation while gaining broad exposure to complex, technically sophisticated projects.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conroe, TX.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Conroe,TX.
