Highlights Location: Brick, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You’ll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop and coordinate a patient/family focused plan of care. Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing bar-scanning and documentation technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes. Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code for Nurses. Requirements Education: Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing strongly preferred or willing to acquire within 3 years of hire. Experience: 6+ months of relevant nursing experience required. 2 years SCN/Mother/Baby nursing experience preferred. Experience in postpartum preferred.
