Medical Surgical Clinical Instructor

Role Overview: This position involves serving as a Nursing Faculty member dedicated to guiding nursing students through their educational journey, fostering their development into competent healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Mentoring, role modeling, and providing academic support to students. Delivering engaging instruction using diverse methodologies to achieve learning outcomes. Participating in curriculum assessment and continuous improvement activities. Maintaining scholarly activities and contributing to professional growth. Utilizing innovative technologies, including Simulation and Innovation Labs, to enhance learning. If involved in clinical education: Assuming full responsibility for students in clinical settings. Clarifying clinical expectations and coordinating with facility staff. Assessing student performance for safety and quality care, providing immediate feedback, and aligning clinical experiences with theoretical content. Qualifications & Skills Master's degree in Nursing and valid professional nurse licensure. Minimum of two years' experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care and at least one year in the relevant teaching field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online learning management systems. Knowledge of regulatory standards, including state, federal, and local laws and nursing boards.
