Clinical Instructor - Medical Surgical

Overview: This role involves serving as a Nursing Faculty member responsible for guiding and mentoring nursing students, fostering their academic and clinical development, and contributing to curriculum improvement. Key Responsibilities Mentor, role model, and support students academically and clinically. Deliver engaging instruction using various teaching methodologies to achieve learning outcomes. Participate in curriculum assessment, continuous improvement, and shared governance activities. Maintain scholarly activities and engage in professional growth. Utilize innovative technologies, including simulation labs, to enhance learning. If involved in clinical teaching, oversee student performance, clarify expectations, and ensure patient safety through assessment and feedback. Qualifications & Skills Master’s degree in nursing and valid professional nurse licensure. Minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience and at least one year in the teaching field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online learning management systems. Knowledge of regulatory standards, including state and federal laws and nursing board requirements.
