Human Resources Coordinator

MMCI Group of Companies is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven HR Coordinator to manage the daily administration of HR systems, payroll, timekeeping, recruiting, onboarding, and employee life cycles. MMCI Group of Companies is an employee-owned wholesale distributor located in Maryland Heights MO. Hours: Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm, in-office Wage: $22/hour Key Responsibilities Maintain employee and HR records with accuracy and confidentiality Manage weekly timekeeping and assist with bi-weekly payroll processing, resolve payroll‑related inquiries Manage onboarding, including background checks, drug screens, paperwork, and orientation Assist employees with routine HR questions with clarity and professionalism Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up on tasks and compliance requirements Identify opportunities to improve organization, communications, and administrative efficiency Qualifications 2+ years of HR, administrative, or office operations experience in a support role Demonstrated experience managing sensitive information with discretion Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail Calm, professional, and approachable presence Flexible and comfortable managing multiple priorities Proficient with technology including Excel and HR systems, UKG Ready preferred Pre‑employment drug screen and background check required What Success Looks Like in This Role Employee and HR records are ‘audit-ready’ #J-18808-Ljbffr MMCI Group of Companies
