Weekend Concierge

Concierge Position We are seeking a dependable and service-oriented Concierge to support our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This role serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff, helping create a welcoming, safe, and well-coordinated environment. Flexibility is essential, as shifts may vary based on staffing needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shifts Needed: Weekends: 9am-5:30pm Key Responsibilities: Greet residents, visitors, and staff in a warm, professional manner Answer and direct phone calls; manage inquiries efficiently Monitor building entry/exit Assist with resident requests Handle incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries Communicate effectively with care staff regarding resident needs or concerns Maintain front desk organization and ensure a clean, presentable lobby area Respond calmly and appropriately in urgent or emergency situations Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working with seniors, including individuals with memory impairment Ability to multitask and remain composed in a dynamic environment Basic computer skills (email, scheduling systems, phone systems) Reliable and flexible availability Preferred Attributes: Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Team-oriented with a willingness to assist across departments Working Conditions: Primarily desk-based with occasional walking throughout the community May involve holiday coverage Interaction with residents in assisted living and memory care settings
