Adjunct Professor of Sociology--Spring 2026

Adjunct Professor of Sociology – Spring 2026 Fairleigh Dickinson University – The Department of Social Sciences, History, and Criminal Justice (part of the Maxwell Becton College of Liberal Arts and Education) seeks part‑time adjunct faculty to teach sections of Sociology beginning Spring 2026. The position involves teaching two sections of Introduction to Sociology, each 3 credit hours, meeting Monday‑Thursday, Tuesday‑Friday, or a double block on other days including Wednesday. Position Type: Adjunct Faculty; Salary: $1,150 per credit hour. Responsibilities: Teach the assigned courses, prepare and deliver lectures, develop assessments, provide grades and feedback, and maintain appropriate course records. Required Qualifications A Ph.D. in Sociology, or an advanced graduate degree and teaching experience in a university setting. Experience teaching Introduction to Sociology preferred.
