Job Description Job Title - System Engineer III Number of Positions - 1 Job Location - 3901 Castle Hayne Road, Wilmington, North Carolina, United States of America, 28402-2819 Job Start Date - 6/15/26 Job End Date - 6/13/27 Rate: Bill Rate $100/hr W2 + Benefits Working Model: Fully remote, limited travel Travel: Potential Vendor or Customer site, GEV office - Customer will be Canada, candidates should be able to travel to Canada and US Working Hours: No preference on time zone, 9am - 3pm EST CORE working hours Interview Process: Virtual, with cameras on, 1 round Equipment will need to be ordered for the selected candidate. Job Description Position Summary: The System Engineer designs and manages complex Instrumenation and Control systems for the BWRX Small Modular Reactor to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Develop sub-system requirements from higher level plant requirements.
- Implement system designs based on project requirements.
- Monitor system design progress and address technical issues.
- Document system activities and prepare detailed reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system functionality.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and best practices.
- Reactor Protector System and Neutron Monitoring System.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience in system engineering or technical roles.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of system tools and methodologies.
