DC Inventory Control Specialist

Casey's is seeking a full-time DC Inventory Control Specialist for our Distribution Center in Terre Haute, Indiana. What you’ll do as a DC Inventory Control Specialist: Perform daily cycle counts of inventory items in the distribution center and communicate results to the warehouse supervisor and shift supervisor. Support others by carrying out routine inventory tasks following established procedures and report areas of concern to the Senior Inventory Control Specialist. Complete periodic audits of outbound orders. Complete periodic audits of receipts. Collect expiration data for FEFO SKUs from the pick and backstock locations, and report the dates to the team lead for further action. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior experience or general understanding of the operation and function of inventory calculators, scanners, and computers is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills. Functional reading, writing, and math skills. Must have ability to operate a hand‑held scanning tool to complete counts. Should also be capable of working with numerous people in a high‑volume area. Work is primarily performed in a warehouse office and production setting, including freezer and cooler areas.
