Chief Executive Officer

The client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide visionary leadership for a leading early childhood support organization in the Pacific Northwest at a pivotal time of growth and deepening community partnerships. The CEO will be accountable to the Board of Directors for the organization’s overall health, financial sustainability, and sustained alignment with its mission to ensure equitable access to early intervention and related support for families, including those reflecting cultural and linguistic diversity. The CEO will oversee all administrative and program operations, including budgeting, regulatory compliance, community advocacy, and quality improvement. As the organization’s public representative, the CEO will build relationships with families, funders, government partners, and the broader early support community, championing equitable access to services across relevant city, county, and state levels. Internally, the CEO will manage the administrative leadership team and oversee selected outsourced partners, while maintaining responsibility for core operational areas such as financial stewardship, staff development, facility management, and data-driven quality improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience leading large, complex organizations and will demonstrate a strong, values-driven leadership approach characterized by compassion, empowerment, equity, stewardship, and excellence, with the ability to engage effectively both at the strategic board level and directly with families.
