Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental and emotional health, identifying their needs and goals.

• Formulate individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, collaborating with clients to prioritize their therapeutic journey.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to stress management.

• Facilitate couples therapy to enhance relationship dynamics, focusing on communication, conflict resolution, and intimacy building.

• Regularly review and adapt treatment plans, ensuring they remain relevant to clients’ evolving needs and progress.

• Maintain accurate records, including progress notes and treatment histories, in compliance with legal and ethical standards for documentation.

• Work alongside interdisciplinary teams and healthcare providers to deliver holistic care, ensuring all aspects of a client’s well-being are addressed.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention to clients facing acute distress, ensuring safety and stability.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of new methodologies and advancements in the fields of marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be engaging with a diverse client population that includes adolescents, adults, and couples. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist from the State Board is essential.
