Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transducer Assembler to join our team on a 1st shift schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This is a temp-to-hire position that requires a high school education or equivalent and 2-5 years of related experience. The role involves mechanical assembly, reading blueprints, and interpreting drawings.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate mechanical assembly proficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, Bill of Materials, mechanical drawings, and written instructions.
• Understand and follow verbal instructions.
• Perform rework on assemblies as needed.
• Use soldering irons and basic hand tools effectively.
• Perform simple mathematical calculations, including ratios and fractions.
• Calculate and mix ratios accurately.

Essential Skills

• High school education or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mechanical assembly proficiency.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word).
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Understanding of 5S and Lean Manufacturing practices is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of soldering techniques.
• U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations.
• Experience in a similar manufacturing environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Poway, CA 92064.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
