Digital Media Student Assistant (2026-2027) - FWS ONLY

Position Summary Perform supporting duties for the ULV Communications/Digital Media Department, TV and LeoFM station operation. Specific Duties Answer phones, typing, photocopying, running errands, assist in the organization of broadcast office, schedule studio/edit facilities, equipment reservations. Facilitating equipment check-in and check-out procedures. Facilitating studio check-in and check-out procedures. Programming and production assistance. Assist students in radio labs/edit rooms, studio and transmitter maintenance, media organization and cataloging, cleaning and organizing workroom and studios. LeoFM/Digital Audio and Film/TV studio maintenance and equipment organization, such as charging batteries, equipment checkout, editing bay reservations, labeling equipment and any other functions related to digital media lab/studio operation. Assist faculty and staff as needed. Housekeeping duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Must be a current University of La Verne student with Federal Work Study eligibility for the 26/27 academic year. Basic computer skills Able to lift light to heavy objects Ability to work independently Good customer service attitude Ability to learn quickly.
