Certified Pharmacy Technician | 100% Remote | Immediate OpeningsWe are hiring 100% remote pharmacy technicians across time zones. As a pharmacy tech, you will be involved in reviewing prior authorizations for determination for a department that is part of a large healthcare insurance company. You will approve or deny authorizations and send some to pharmacist for final review. You will handle all health plans and types of medications.This role is fully computer-based with little to no phone work. Responsibilities include:process prescription exceptions including resolving claim rejects and member and physician outreachenter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing systemresearch and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issuesescalate questions regarding prescriptions to pharmacist for interpretation or provide direction on processingassist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician callsMust Have:2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experiencePrior AuthorizationCustomer ServiceComputer skillsAbility to work remote and independently100% remote. Must work in a closed-door setting with limited distractions and be HIPAA compliant. Strong Wi-Fi and ability to work remotely are required.Shift: Monday to Friday 8 AM to 8 PM (8 hour shift)Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
