We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with IDOCS and Demand Planning with 10+ years of experience delivering complex integration solutions involving SAP and non-SAP systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in middleware-driven functional design , strong requirements articulation skills, and the ability to operate effectively within a large, global, distributed team structure.


This role is critical to designing high-quality functional specifications, coordinating cross-system alignment, and enabling seamless data and process flows across enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements gathering workshops with global business and technical teams.
• Develop detailed, high-quality Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for SAP and non-SAP integrations with strong focus on middleware orchestration.
• Define integration logic, field mappings, transformation rules, validations, dependencies, and error-handling procedures.
• Partner with middleware teams (SAP CPI, MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure, etc.) to ensure alignment between functional and technical integration designs.
• Document end-to-end process flows, data flows, and system interaction diagrams.
• Collaborate across multiple global time zones (IST / EST / PST) to support development, testing, and deployment cycles.
• Work closely with onsite-offshore teams to manage delivery alignment, clarify requirements, and resolve blockers.
• Support SIT, UAT, and cutover activities by validating integration outcomes and ensuring functional completeness.
• Drive gap analysis, root-cause assessments, and integration issue resolution across SAP and non-SAP platforms.
• Maintain compliance with solution architecture, program governance, and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Integration Analyst.
• Proven expertise in writing functional specs for SAP and non-SAP system integrations , with strong middleware orientation.
• Deep understanding of integration patterns-APIs, IDocs, EDI, queues, file-based transfers, synchronous/asynchronous flows, and message orchestration.
• Strong ability to translate business processes into clear, scalable, and testable functional designs.
• Experience leading and collaborating with global onsite/offshore teams across multiple time zones.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive clarity in complex environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail or apparel industry experience is a strong plus.
• Supply Chain knowledge- Demand Planning , Allocation , Inventory, Fulfillment, or Planning systems.
• Experience working in large multi-system ERP landscapes (SAP ECC/S4, OMS, planning tools, DC systems, vendor platforms).
• Exposure to Agile delivery, JIRA, Confluence, and integration governance frameworks.
