Dining Services Worker

Position Overview Part‑time Dining Services Worker to support Globe Cafe, Joppa Hall Cafe, TUNE Cafe, APGFCU Arena concessions, and college catering as needed. Responsibilities Prepare food upon request and perform related food‑service duties. Act as cashier when required, handling cash and credit‑card transactions. Support event concessions and catering operations. Maintain a clean, safe work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. No prior experience required; training provided. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service. Flexible schedule with availability for daytime, evening, and weekend hours. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating a point‑of‑sale system and handling cash/credit cards. Serve Safe, Food Handler, or sanitation certification. Previous food‑service preparation experience. Hours 20 hours per week. Daytime schedule 7 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday‑Friday, with occasional evening and weekend duties based on event needs. Benefits Paid sick and safe leave.
