Front of House Team Member — Le Coupé

Part-Time | Approximately 20 Hours/Week

$18/hour + Tip Pool

Le Coupé is looking for an outgoing, reliable, and hospitality-driven Front of House Team Member to join our team.

We are a counter-service restaurant, but our service does not stop at the register. We want every guest to feel welcomed and taken care of from the moment they walk through the door until they leave.

Compensation

$18/hour

Participation in our FOH tip pool

Tips are typically $350+ per week , depending on hours worked, sales, and the tip pool

Approximately 20 hours per week , give or take based on business needs

What You’ll Do:

Greet and acknowledge every customer as they walk in

Take orders accurately and efficiently

Learn the menu in detail and confidently answer customer questions

Make recommendations and actively upsell menu items, sides, drinks, and add-ons

Run each order to the guest’s table rather than calling food from the counter

Check on guests while they are eating and make sure they have everything they need

Pre-bus and bus tables throughout service

Thank and acknowledge every guest as they leave

Manage the line during busy periods and keep service organized

Manage takeout orders and ensure orders are complete and accurate

Communicate professionally with third-party delivery drivers

Keep the dining room, counter, beverage areas, and other front-of-house spaces clean, organized, and fully stocked

Restock supplies throughout the shift

Work closely with the kitchen to communicate guest requests, order issues, and delays

Who We’re Looking For:

Personality is extremely important for this position.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people and hospitality. You should be warm, friendly, confident, and comfortable starting and holding conversations with customers.

This is not a position for someone who simply wants to stand behind a register and take orders. Our FOH team is expected to engage with guests, make conversation, learn our regulars, anticipate what customers need, and bring positive energy to the restaurant.

You should be:

Naturally hospitality-minded and genuinely enjoy customer service

Attentive and proactive rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done

Comfortable recommending and upselling menu items without being pushy

Able to stay friendly, organized, and composed during busy service

Reliable and punctual

Able to commit to a consistent schedule

Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team

Able to reliably commute to work

Able to communicate effectively in English with customers and coworkers

Availability Requirements:

Approximately 20-25 hours per week , give or take

Weekend availability is required

Must have afternoon and evening availability

Must be able to work shifts ending as late as 10:00 PM

Must be able to commit to a reliable, consistent schedule

Previous restaurant, hospitality, retail, or customer-service experience is a plus, but personality, reliability, work ethic, and genuine hospitality matter most to us.
