Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to promote trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide sessions effectively.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating safe spaces where clients can process their experiences, learn coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and an interdisciplinary team of professionals to ensure an integrated approach to each patient’s care.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker – R (LCSW-R) in New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
