Night Audit Host

Job Overview The Night Audit Host is responsible for assisting in the overnight front office shift. This will include cash control, preparing and balancing various reports, responding to guest service issues, and the check‑in and check‑out process. The role is highly visible, offers opportunities for casual conversation, and directly impacts the guest experience. Other duties include processing payment forms and responding to guest inquiries. This position is for the overnight shift and requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Schedules are determined by business needs. Typical shifts run from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, with occasional PM shifts as needed. Location: Grand Hyatt Denver, a 516‑room hotel with over 60,000 sq ft of meeting space. Key Responsibilities Manage overnight front office operations, including cash handling, report preparation and balancing, and check‑in/check‑out processes. Respond promptly to guest service issues and inquiries. Process payment forms and maintain accurate transaction records. Qualifications Must have excellent organizational skills. Previous high‑volume customer service experience is required, preferably in the hospitality industry. Previous cash handling experience is required. Strong desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment. Refined verbal and written communication skills. Ability to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances. Knowledge of Denver area restaurants and attractions preferred. Previous hotel front‑office experience preferred. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Hours: 11:00 pm – 7:30 am. Rate: $22.40 /hr plus a $2.00 differential for overnight shifts. Benefits Free basic life insurance after 30 days. Free basic short‑term disability after 30 days.
