As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service, and communicate observations using computer or tablet tools. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM Sat: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to site leadership. Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting of security-related incidents. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
