Location & Work Hours Full-time on-site position at one Alpha campus: Phoenix, AZ; Oklahoma City or Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, Fort Worth, Houston (South Houston or The Woodlands), Plano, TX; Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; or Dorado, Puerto Rico (relocation assistance available). 40‑hour workweek. Job Overview You are a seasoned structured literacy educator. At Alpha, you will serve as a Guide, engaging K‑2 students through a dynamic, magnetic presence, facilitating small‑group workshops and motivation sessions using AI‑adaptive applications. Responsibilities Develop and facilitate structured‑literacy small‑group workshops for K‑2 students, rooted in Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, IMSE, or comparable methods, informed by live student data. Lead daily motivation sessions to drive 100% of students toward weekly adaptive‑app targets using Alpha’s motivational framework. Conduct and evaluate running records, fluency assessments, and decoding diagnostics, refining instruction accordingly. Analyze AI‑generated performance insights from Alpha’s adaptive learning platforms to differentiate instruction in real time. Build and maintain rapport with students, serving as their energetic and approachable guide. Collaborate with campus teams to share insights and influence the evolution of Alpha’s K‑2 reading model. Qualifications Structured‑literacy certification (Orton‑Gillingham, LETRS, Wilson Reading System, IMSE, CERI, Neuhaus, UFLI, or equivalent) OR Master’s degree in reading instruction. Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) with 2+ years of full‑time K‑2 structured reading instruction in a school or clinical environment. Proven capacity to independently design and deliver clear structured‑literacy lessons without a published program. Willingness to work full‑time in person at one Alpha campus (loc list). Relocation assistance available. Willingness to serve all K‑2 students and integrate AI and adaptive‑learning platforms into instruction. Legal authorization to work in the United States or Puerto Rico without visa sponsorship. For the Dorado, Puerto Rico campus: bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Nice‑to‑Have Requirements Experience with AI‑powered or adaptive reading platforms (e.g., Amira, Lexia, i‑Ready, Reading Plus) for instructional planning or data interpretation. Documented history of measurable reading gains (e.g., fluency improvement in WCPM, accuracy increases, decoding level progression). Experience in non‑traditional or innovative educational settings (charter, micro‑school, Montessori, hybrid models).
