Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy - Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients of all ages.
• Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed.
• Utilize Draeger ventilators and provide critical care respiratory support.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and patient care conferences.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation using EPIC charting system.

Qualifications

• Current RRT or CRT with state license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered respiratory therapist.
• Experience with Draeger ventilators is required.
• BLS and additional certifications such as ACLS, CPFT, NRP, PALS preferred.
• Experience in level II trauma and acute care settings preferred.
• Flexibility to rotate through all hospital areas, including NICU and Pediatric units.
