Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in a Level 3 NICU setting, including management of neonatal oscillating vents.
• Float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed.
• Contribute to patient care planning and development of care strategies in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Document patient care in the EPIC charting system accurately and timely.
• Educate and orientate students and new hires as necessary in respiratory care procedures.
• Support all areas of the hospital, including frequent rotation to the NICU and Pediatric units based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification and a CRT or RRT plus state license required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, including Level 2 Trauma and acute care settings.
• Experience with Draeger vents and neonatal oscillating vents required.
• Previous experience in a Level 3 NICU environment mandatory.
• Knowledge and experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Must have travel experience in the healthcare field.
