Senior NetSuite Administrator & Developer

Leading entertainment company is seeking an experienced Senior NetSuite Developer and Admin to lead the design, development, customization, integration, administration, and maintenance of our NetSuite ERP platform. This role will serve as the primary technical and functional expert for NetSuite, partnering with Finance teams and business stakeholders to optimize processes, improve system performance, and support strategic business initiatives. The ideal candidate combines deep NetSuite technical expertise and best practice approaches with strong business process knowledge and hands‑on experience managing enterprise ERP environments. Key Responsibilities NetSuite Development & Customization Design, develop, and maintain NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript 1.0/2.0/2.1, SuiteFlow Establish, follow, and promote technical best practices across development, implementation, deployment, version control, documentation, testing, and ongoing code maintenance processes to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable NetSuite solutions Build and maintain custom records, forms, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, and reports Support integrations between NetSuite and third‑party systems including Salesforce, payment processing, SSO and banking platforms Create scalable, maintainable technical solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks NetSuite Administration Serve as the primary NetSuite system administrator and subject matter expert. Manage roles, permissions, user provisioning, security controls, and system governance. Maintain system configurations, release management, sandboxes, and deployment processes. Monitor system health, data integrity, and platform performance Coordinate NetSuite upgrades, testing, and regression validation activities Business Process Optimization Partner with Finance to streamline business processes. Gather requirements, analyze workflows, and recommend system enhancements Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy Support monthly and quarterly bulk invoicing accounting processes Develop advanced saved searches to support financial reporting and operational analytics Lead ERP‑related projects, enhancements, implementations, and integrations Manage third‑party consultants and vendors when applicable Document system architecture, configurations, and development standards Provide user training, technical guidance, and ongoing support Required Qualifications Technical Skills Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field. 8+ years of hands‑on NetSuite administration and development and solution architecture experience. Proven experience independently owning and managing the full NetSuite ecosystem as the primary and sole technical resource supporting operations, development, integrations, and administration. Strong expertise with: SuiteScript 1.0/2.0/2.1 SuiteFlow SuiteAnalytics SuiteBuilder Experience with NetSuite including: Accounts Payable/Receivable Revenue Arrangement Dunning Multiple Subsidiary and operating structures Netsuite certifications such as: Application Developer NetSuite Administrator SuiteFoundation Experience building and supporting integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or iPaaS platforms. Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes. Experience with SDLC, testing, deployment, and change management processes. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
