Job Summary

The Technical Service Manager will oversee technology and maintenance at the park. They will be a self?starter with experience in electro?mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting. Successful candidates will be lifelong learners, fantastic problem solvers, and exceptional customer service partners, ensuring every guest leaves happy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Maintenance Techs to ensure assigned tasks are effectively addressed
• Meet regularly with staff to provide supervision and encourage open communication
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and other regulatory agencies
• Provide continuous training and development of the tech and maintenance team
• Determine schedules for maintenance staff to ensure appropriate coverage and expedite work
• Oversee, clean, and be responsible for multiple attractions including coasters, virtual reality systems, laser tag, simulators, and more
• Order all parts following budgets
• Assist techs on major escalated issues
• Work with senior leaders to develop training programs
• Assist with POS systems, projectors, and other building equipment
• Ensure daily preventative maintenance and repairs are completed
• Maintain PM logs for all attractions and keep them up to date
• Manage building maintenance and coordinate contractors for repairs
• Maintain a safety?focused attitude at all times
• Document fire and disaster drills in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Implement corrective actions from internal or external safety inspections
• Inspect storage rooms, work rooms, and utility/janitorial closets for upkeep and supply control
• Follow all maintenance processes, including safety, OSHA, logging, and reporting
• Assist with parts/tools inventory and purchasing for stores
• Maintain payout structure and troubleshoot with Embed and Center Edge POS systems
• Ensure maintenance personnel follow established safety regulations when using equipment and supplies
• Ensure use of safety equipment and supplies (e.g., back brace, mechanical lifts) when lifting or moving heavy objects
• Maintain supplies and equipment to provide a safe and comfortable environment
• Obtain and maintain material safety data sheets (SDS) for hazardous chemicals in the maintenance department
• Label and store hazardous chemicals properly in the department
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Familiarity with Embed system and Center Edge POS software is a plus

Education

• High school or equivalent education required

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity in a maintenance?related position

• Highly organized with a strong work ethic
• Must be able and willing to stand or walk for up to 10?hour shifts
