Accounting Assistant - Cartersville, GA A detail-oriented and reliable accounting professional with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash applications is needed. Responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations including processing invoices, posting payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial record accuracy. This is a full-time, immediate hire opportunity with standard business hours. This role is based in Cartersville, Georgia and requires working fully onsite. This position is open due to company growth and the need to support increased transaction volume within the accounting team. Professional, team-oriented office setting with a collaborative and structured workflow. Up to $65,000 annually depending on experience. We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to support core accounting functions with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash applications, ensuring timely and accurate financial processing. Key responsibilities include: Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions Apply cash receipts and reconcile discrepancies Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Assist with account reconciliations and reporting Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues Qualifications include: 2+ years of accounting experience with AP/AR and cash applications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Excel. Ability to work independently in an in-office environment.
