HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR Full Time Womelsdorf, PA, US 9 days ago Requisition ID: 1057 POSITION DESCRIPTION Classification : Regular, Full-Time, Exempt Reports To : Senior Director of Human Resources POSITION SUMMARY The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Department and plays a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of human resources services across the organization. This position is responsible for coordinating recruitment activities, facilitating the onboarding of new employees, maintaining accurate employee records, supporting compliance-related activities, and assisting with benefits administration. The Human Resources Coordinator also performs a variety of other essential human resources functions that contribute to the efficient operation of the organization and support the overall employee experience. POSITION-SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Coordinates candidate communications Assists with job postings and recruitment advertising Participates in career fairs and recruiting events as assigned Coordinates pre-hire meetings for newly hired employees Supports recruitment activities, including phone screenings, maintaining electronic interview notes, and coordinating and maintaining interview schedules Conducts background checks and ensures compliance with required clearances for newly hired employees Reviews clearance results for newly hired employees with the Senior Director of Human Resources for approval Coordinates and processes new hire personnel paperwork Onboards newly hired employees into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Maintains personnel files and HRIS records for active and terminated employees Coordinates exit interviews and processes employee separations Assists with employment verification requests Supports the review of personnel policies and benefits with employees during onboarding and as needed Maintains knowledge of employment laws and regulations and makes recommendations regarding policies and procedures Produces and manages reports, metrics, and analytics related to leave administration, workers' compensation claims, attendance incentive programs, and other human resources data Supports the HR Generalist with annual open enrollment activities, including auditing benefit records, preparing and distributing communication materials, and providing enrollment guidance to employees Reconciles and coordinates Human Resources department credit card receipts and documentation Collaborates with Compliance and Finance departments to support audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Responds to and assists employees with Human Resources-related emails, phone calls, and inquiries Performs administrative duties and other related responsibilities to support the Human Resources Department REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Five (5) years’ experience in Human Resources Three (3) years’ experience in Human Recourses with associate’s degree Maintains strict confidentiality of personnel, medical, compensation and organizational information Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checks Must have health assessment certified by a physician no more than 30 days prior to commencing employment and renewed every two years Must provide current PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal History and FBI Fingerprinting clearances within 30 days of commencing employment Must have superior communication and computer skills Progressive experience in all aspects of Human Resources administration Demonstrates a commitment to achieving a standard of excellence with procedures and outcomes Communicates effectively by balancing listening and talking, speaking and writing clearly and influencing others Demonstrates excellent teamwork skills by being helpful, accountable, respectful and approachable WORKING CONDITIONS Primary work area is in a climate controlled office environment with occasional local travel Performs primarily sedentary work in a climate-controlled office environment Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position: Remain in a stationary, seated position more than 50% of the time Occasionally perform light work by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 20 pounds without assistance Move about on foot to complete tasks and move from one location to another Stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, climb stairs, and stand regularly Have close visual acuity to prepare and analyze figures and data, to view a computer monitor and operate typical office equipment Have manual dexterity to grasp and manipulate objects Be subjected to occasional noise that would cause one to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level #J-18808-Ljbffr
