Status: Full-Time Months Worked: 12 Month Job Summary: Under the direction of the University Director of Housing andResidence Life, the Assistant Director of Housing and ResidenceLife for Operations is a key member of the Housing and ResidenceLife leadership team responsible for the overall administration andcoordination of housing operations for the Florham Campus. Thisposition oversees all aspects of the housing assignment process,occupancy management, meal plan administration, housingapplications, data management, reporting, and operational processesthat support the residential experience. The Assistant Director serves as the primary functional lead forhousing management systems and operational procedures whilecollaborating with campus partners to ensure efficient,student-centered service delivery. This position develops andimplements housing policies and procedures, analyzes occupancytrends and data, and supports strategic planning related toenrollment and residential capacity. This is a 12-month, full-timeprofessional position. Required Qualifications: Master’s degree required in Higher Education Administration,Student Affairs, Business Administration, Public Administration, orrelated field. Two to four years of progressively responsible experience inHousing and Residence Life, Student Affairs, or a relatedadministrative area. Demonstrated experience with housing management software StarRezand student information systems. Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data,preparing reports, and utilizing data to support strategicdecision-making. Excellent organizational, project management, andproblem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiplepriorities and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the abilityto effectively collaborate with students, faculty, staff, andcampus partners. Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality,and handle sensitive student information. Demonstrated commitment to customer service and continuousprocess improvement. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as required andparticipate in the professional staff on-call rotation. Live-on accommodations are available but are not required forthis position.
