Submittal Coordinator

Position Overview dormakaba is seeking a Submittal Coordinator remote based in Indianapolis, IN. The Submittal Coordinator is responsible for creating installation project submittals for automatic door projects. The Submittal Coordinator is the conduit between the sales organization and the customer until approved submittals are received from the customer. This position is responsible for the timely delivery of such documents. HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Hourly Salary $30.00 - $43.00 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What you will do Receive submittal requirements from sales partners and/or the Central Order Entry Team Review project requirement to determine submittal requirements; consult with sales partner(s), required Prepare submittals (drawings, configurations, product list, schedule of values (if required), and exclusions) Submit submittals to the customer and document the submission Follow‑up with the customer for status update while keeping the sales partner(s) informed What we require 2+ years’ work experience within the industry Must possess a strong working knowledge of the new construction and renovation processes Ability to set priorities and work in a highly measured environment Ability to interpret sales quotations What we prefer Knowledge of electronics required, specifically in access control, entrance systems (automatic doors), or Integration BS Degree in technical field, construction management or business CAD or Architectural Drawing software What we offer Taking Care of our Employees on Day One with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
