Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and active LPN licensure
• Prior pediatric or school-based nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to respond calmly and quickly in emergency situations
• Experience administering medications, first aid, and care per physician’s orders
• Compassionate and professional demeanor, adaptable to evolving student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including medication administration, first aid, and ongoing health assessments
• Manage student health records in accordance with school policy and healthcare regulations
• Communicate with parents, guardians, and educational staff regarding student needs and care plans
• Monitor for communicable diseases and participate in health education initiatives
• Support individualized care for students with chronic conditions or special health needs
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions
