Job Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized speech therapy interventions aimed at promoting fluency, voice optimization, language acquisition, and competent swallowing.
• Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to ensure holistic care approaches.
• Provide educational resources and support to patients and their families to facilitate ongoing improvement beyond clinical settings.
• Occasionally assess and provide therapy for inpatients, ensuring that all aspects of care are seamlessly integrated.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development through education and collaboration with peers to stay ahead in the field.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Licensure and Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first month of employment.
