Vaccines Specialist, Health and Science Professional - Albany N, NY We are seeking a Vaccines Health and Science Professional (HSP) to promote Pfizer's vaccines portfolio across customers and channels in the Albany, NY area.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive sales in assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives. Engage with customers both face to face and virtually. Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans; identify and execute live/virtual engagement strategies with customers. Build rapport and relationships with customers; maintain engagement by utilizing digital tools. Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify strategic business opportunities. Use authorized disease‑state information and patient resources in product promotion. Demonstrate market knowledge and uncover barriers and drivers across public health, private market, retail, etc. Collaborate with cross‑functional colleagues to address inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives. Complete all administrative expectations on time (e.g., record calls, submit expenses, respond to requests).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales, entrepreneurial activities, marketing, customer service, or account management; or appropriate combinations of higher education and experience. Must live within 25 miles of the territory border. Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in the past 7 years). Full‑time military experience acceptable. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; U.S. work visa sponsorship not available.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

At least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales or related marketing. Proven sales or marketing success, strong territory management, and outstanding communication skills. Experience with vaccines therapeutic areas and products. Knowledge of local customers and markets (prescribers, hospitals, organizations). Residence within territory boundaries.

OTHER JOB DETAILS

Last date to apply: June 16, 2026. Annual base salary: $76,000 – $199,600. During initial new‑hire sales training the employee is classified as salary non‑exempt and eligible for overtime; after certification the role becomes overtime exempt. Additional quarterly sales incentive bonus.
