Pay Rate: 23-24/HR on W2 Hours: M-F 7:30am - 4pm potential after hours call (OT) Location: NY-Ballston Spa-100 State Farm Pl

Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances: Class A Office space Team Overview: Mostly independent work, but some tasks will be done as part of a team Resource's typical working day: Daily PM's - Visual inspection and repair as needed Changing ceiling tiles Basic electric Basic plumbing Basic mechanical - Operating dampers - Lubricating - Basic repair Drywall work Painting/patching

Licenses/Certifications: Scissor lift/fork lift license or electrician license would be a plus, but none are required

Must Have Skills: Basic electric Basic plumbing Basic mechanical Ability to work independently Problem solving skills Able to ask for help for advanced skills Takes initiative and is looking for additional responsibilities

Nice to have skills: HVAC experience Boiler skills Soft kills: Good team working skills

About the Role: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do: •Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. •Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs. •Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems. •Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion. •Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently. •Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. •Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner. •Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail. •Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
